Role Overview

We are recruiting Hydradig Support Crew / Support Trackway Installers to work alongside our Hydradig-led trackway installation teams on OHL, utilities and infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a hands-on, physical role supporting machine-led installations, ideal for someone hardworking, reliable and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. You’ll play a key part in ensuring installations are carried out safely, efficiently and to plan.

Key Responsibilities

Support Hydradig operators during trackway installation and recovery

Assist with positioning, aligning and pinning trackway panels

Help with loading, unloading, stacking and securing mats and pins

Maintain exclusion zones and safe working areas around plant

Follow RAMS, lift plans and strict health & safety procedures

Carry out general site duties and maintain good housekeeping

Work closely with Lead Installers, drivers and plant operators

Support live OHL, utility and infrastructure site operations

Travel UK-wide with regular working away

Work early starts, overtime and weekends where required

Essential Requirements

Hardworking, reliable and able to work as part of a team

Comfortable with physical work and outdoor environments

Strong safety-first attitude

Willingness to travel UK-wide and work away from home

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Desirable

Previous experience in trackway, groundworks, utilities or construction

CSCS card

Experience working around plant and lifting operations

(Previous trackway or plant experience is beneficial but not essential — full support and training provided.)
